ANC Needs to Fill Positions

It is certainly Spring time at American Nanny Company. The job requests are coming in and we are rolling up our sleeves and ready to match, interview and process.
1. Mature, Career Nanny to Live-In for Newborn in Ipswich, Mass.

If you are a seasoned, mature, baby expert who can coach new parents, this position is for you. Education is also important with a good understanding of Early Childhood Education.

Parents seek full time full charge nanny to start in Mid-May (flexible) Must love travel, beautiful Ipswich, and animals as well as babies. Work M-F, Morning to Early Evening. Sometimes swap weekend day for weekend. Must be willing to spend some of summer at summer home on Lake Winnipesaukee . Responsibilities include general care, feeding, bathing and help in raising and nurturing new daughter. Some household chores and errands- not heavy housecleaning.

This is such a special family and they are looking for the right match. Salary ranges from 900.00- 1,000.00 weekly (flexible, here, for right person) and benefits include Separate and private apartment- Living room, kitchen, bedroom , bathroom and deck- attached to the main house but completely private in it's own wing of the house. Other benefits include travel, health insurance, use of car and salary review.

2. Special Needs Nanny/Household Manager for Cambridge, Ma. Family-Start ASAP

Live-In or Live-Out.

Working with high-functioning special needs 11 year old who is in school and needs academic, social and emotional support.

Job Description: Dual Career Professional Couple seeks experienced, bright, caring and consistent nanny for care of son. Prior experience with special needs child is critical as is excellent English speaking and writing skills. While son is in school nanny will be responsible for household support and organization and errands. After school their son has activities two or three times a week that he needs to be taken to and then home for dinner and homework. He is a high-functioning special needs child who is happiest in a predictable, well structured environment with clearly stated expectations and consistent follow through.

Either Full or Part Time. If part-time M-F 2-6:30.

If full time, about 30 -40 hours. Will pay for full time to secure nanny for school vacations, holidays, sick days and summer.

Salary 15-18 an hour.

3. Join the Family- Live-In or Live-Out- Greenwich, Mass. Start Flexible June, July or August

One of our most special families is back on board and hope to find an incredibly motivated, bright, seasoned, athletic and creative nanny for four well behaved school age children. The boys are 15 and 5 and the girls are 13 and 9. They have had successful experiences with the past two nannies we have placed.

Parents are very caring and committed to their children and nanny. They both have high powered jobs and need a nanny who is full charge, proactive, responsible, caring and highly dedicated. College degree is helpful as children might need some homework support.
The focus is on the children. Nanny will have use of a car to transport children to and from activities and will be expected to be there for them. The family has a housekeeper but nanny will be responsible for light housework and errands as it revolves around the care of the children.

The hours are M-F, 7-7 with some down time for nanny. If live in, the accommodations are separate bedroom and bath in lovely condition.

Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.

4. Baby, Oh, Baby...Full - Time Live Out Nanny, Wellesley, Ma. Start Early May

New, exultant parents seek highly experienced baby nanny to come and care for their precious newborn on a full time basis. the hours will be M-F 7:30-6:30. Both parents work full time and need a full charge nanny who is highly professional, responsible, proactive and savvy about early childhood development.

The focus is on the baby and nanny would be expected to help with related feeding, changing, bathing and socialization. Parents hope for excellent communication and a long term relationship. This couple will be a joy to work with. Please apply if you have great experience with babies and outstanding references.

Salary competitive and commensurate with experience.

  1. A word about strap positioning:
    When your child is in a rear-facing position, the top edge of the strap should be AT or BELOW shoulder height. It is time to move up to the next slot when their shoulders reach that slot position on the car seat back.
    When your child is in a forward-facing position, the top edge of the strap should be AT or ABOVE shoulder height. It is time to move to the next slot when their shoulders begin to be below that slot position on the car seat back.
